Active Directory Import Mapping for user profile

I don't see "Active Directory Import Mapping" option in MOSS 2007 when
trying to import mapped propertires. I do see that option in portal2003.
I do see that there are 21 properties are mapped when I imported user
profiles, but when I try to create a new property and want it to mapped to
AD property, there is no option to select from.

Hello Andy,

In Office SharePoint Server 2007,  you need to Shared Services
Administration: SharedServices1 > User Profile and Properties > Manage
Connections > Edit Connection .  Now , you can add an  AD import connection.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

I already did import profiles from AD using custom connection, but I don't
see "Property Import Mapping" section under SharedServices1 > User Profile
and Properties > View Profile Properties > User Profile Property.

I can see this section in my lab Moss but not in production portal

Hello Andy,

Actually, please go to Shared Services Administration: SharedServices1 >
User Profile and Properties > View Profile Properties, where you could see
the options.

In the meantime, please note that we answer one question per post in the
newsgroups. In order to concentrate fully on each of these problems we ask
that you post them as separate threads. That way each issue can receive
full attention from the Support Professional to whom it is assigned. This
will also make the thread more clear and consistent for your reference.

If you have problems to find the options in the View Profile Properties
page in your production environment, please feel free to open a new post.
We will be very glad to work with you.

Regards,

Ada Pan
