Hi, We made a fresh instalation of a sharepoint site on MOSS 2007 on
the client server.

After I create the site, I get into "My Settings" to edit my
information and everything goes ok.

But for some reason, after some minutes, when I try to change my
personal user information or the user information of someone else (of
course having the right permissions to do that), it doesn't let me
change the values.

It allows me to add new fields, and when I press edit, it allows me to
change that values, but not the values of the predefined fields such
as Email, Department, Company and stuff like that.

I also tried usign forms authentication with aspnet membership
provider, but same result.

We have another server at our company with MOSS installed but this
never happened on it.

I think this could be happening because of some Timer Job running on
the server, but I'm not sure about that.

Any comments or suggestions?
