Hi...We are in process of retiring one Sharepoint Portal 2003 server
and one SQL 2000 server into new SPP 2003 and SQL 2005 servers.

Can you point out what is the steps and documentation to do so?

Can I use SQL backup and restore to migrate the configuration and
content databases, and using Sharepoint's backup / restore tool to
move the sites?
