in the help for sharepoint 2007, under "How does the Collect Feedback
workflow work" it says:

"...Participants can click a link in the e-mail task alert to open the
document or item to be reviewed. Participants can make changes or insert
comments directly in the document."

I have started a task to collect feedback on a document, and the individual
participants can download the document and make comments on it (i.e. just
using the normal word comment features), but when they "save" it just saves
the whole document to their local PC. there is no way of sending the
comments to the document owner.

am I missing something? doesn't seem to be much point sending the document
round for feedback if the users have to keep their own comments to
themselves !!
